2026 Year of the Horse Celebration
A Lunar New Year celebration together
About this gathering
On March 1, 2026, ECA and community partners gathered at the Edgemont High School gym for a Year of the Horse celebration. The event flyer listed 2:30–5:30 p.m.
A warm welcome at the door
Volunteers prepared the festive setting, and ECA welcomed guests with New Year gifts. A lion dance opened the celebration alongside a red-envelope moment.
Performances and moments together
The program included dance, music and choir performances. Chinese snacks, prize draws and games gave neighbors of different ages ways to join in.
With thanks to everyone involved
The report thanks ECA’s organizers, co-organizers, sponsors and volunteers. Their work made this community celebration possible.
